I have been developing and maintaining a custom fork of Mozilla's former Hubs project for Kyushu University's Division of Next Generation Open Education Program.

I handle every facet of development—from front end UI design in React, to back-end server maintenance using Kubernetes and Docker, to bugfixing and refactoring code in Javascript and Typescript.

I began extending Hubs with new features (such as a global presence voice chat system), which ultimately led to a desire to overhaul the entire (now outdated) codebase. I am currently transitioning the 100,000+ line project to Typescript while also moving away from the A-Frame system to BitECS—a more modern ECS system written in Typescript.

I'm also messing around with alternative JS-based networking solutions too—as a move away from A-Frame will also necessitate a move away from Networked A-Frame too.
